Karin Thrift has been involved with the c-store industry for over 30 years. She began her career as a part-time retail rep for Ferrero, USA. She has worked as a Region Sales Manager, National Sales Manager, Corporate Accounts Specialist, and Director of Sales for brokers, manufacturers, and a national c-store distributor. Karin is currently Director of Sales / Convenience at Clif Bar & Company where she has worked for 17 years.
Karin has served on the National Association of Convenience Stores (NACS) supplier board, retiring as vice-chair in 2010. In 2015 she re-joined the Manpower Committee at NACS in order to continue to serve the convenience community. She has also been active with the Convenience Distributors Association (CDA). Karin was named one of the “Top Women in Convenience” by Convenience Store News in 2015.
Karin recently completed a term as Co-Chair / Logistics for the North Texas Board of the Network of Executive Women (NEW). She has also served in an advisory position for the NEW Annual Summit, as the co-chair for the Silent Auction at NALS, and on the Scholarship Committee. In addition to her industry work, Karin helped co-found Discover Y.O.U., a leadership skills development program for high-school students and served on an advisory panel for local youth development in Georgetown, TX.

Karin lives in Arlington, TX with her dog, Maddie. She has two married sons and two grandchildren.
